In this working session, we discussed good principles of multimedia design when providing content to students in audio, graphic, and video formats. We also discussed student preferences, motivation, attention span, and cognitive load and brainstormed ideas for potential multimedia-enhanced assignments or activities students might complete before arriving to class. File formats, technical support, and student ease of access were also be taken into consideration.
